Un-Common Theatre Company and Bay Colony Productions Present "PETER PAN"! |

The Un-Common Theatre Company begins our 30th season with “Peter Pan”, the classic Broadway musical based on the play by James M. Barrie. This production, our second collaboration with Bay Colony Productions, will be performed at the Orpheum Theatre Foxboro on November 27-29, and December 4-6.
First produced on Broadway with Mary Martin and Cyril Richard and then a major hit starring Cathy Rigby, “Peter Pan” is one of the world's most celebrated musicals. “Peter Pan”, like its namesake, is a tale which never ages. Children and adults alike have all fallen under the spell of Neverland, a place where children can fly and exciting, and frightening adventures happen every single day. This show has all the charm of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, the children Wendy, Michael and John, pirates and Indians, embellished with show-stopping songs, "Never Never Land", "I Won't Grow Up" and "I'm Flying".
Directed by: Bill Cunningham
Choreographed by: Dori Bryan

Un-Common's Young Performer's Group Presents
"The Little Mermaid" |
Anemone (Erin Fitzgerald of Westwood, Ma), an adventurous little mermaid, leaves her undersea realm for a fifteenth birthday excursion to the surface. She hopes to find the prince of her dreams, whose statue she has found. Accompanied by her friends, Clem Clam (Ethan Gekow of Sharon, Ma) and Laura Lobster (Samantha Eddy of Mansfield, Ma), she begins her quest. But a jealous Sea-Witch (Cara DiPietro of Norfolk, Ma) threatens Anemone. In fact, Rip-Tide (Ben Reingold of Sharon, Ma) and Zip-Tide (Jack Manning of Westwood, Ma), the witch's nasty shark cohorts, terrorize all. The Sea-Witch magically conjures up a storm which sinks a ship carrying Prince Theodore (Daniel Fullerton of Mansfield, Ma). Anemone dives into the waves to save him, but not before she has been tricked into trading her voice to the Sea-Witch. As he recovers from his ordeal, the prince believes Georgina (Georgia Rose Fraser of Sharon, Ma), who discovered him on the rocks, saved him. The prince declares to all that she will be his wife; a fitting "thank you." Meanwhile, the prince has befriended the voiceless Anemone while Georgina, her heart belonging to another, resists the impending marriage. Patience, love and friendship solve this delightful romantic puzzle.
Directed by Meg Lowey, a Foxboro High School Senior, Choreographed by Maggie Dowd, a Sharon High School Junior, and Music Directed by Un-Common veteran Linda Barbieri (Attleboro, Ma) this show will feature a cast of thirty three talented local first through sixth graders and will be performed at Qualters Middle School in Mansfield, MA Friday March 19th at 7.30pm, Saturday March 20th at 2pm and Sunday March 21st at 2pm.
